Panikoili, July 22: A private bus met with an accident on NH 20 late Sunday night near Chandpur.
The bus was carrying 'Bolbam' devotees before meeting with an accident on Jajpur Road-Panikoili route under the Panikoili Police Station limits.
The bus reportedly crashed into a divider before flipping over. As many as 17 on-board passengers were injured in the accident.
Receiving the news, the patrolling police, with the help of a few social workers arrived at the spot and rescued the passengers. The injured people were sent to hospital.
