Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: Trouble seems to be mounting day by day for former BJD leader VK Pandian, who reportedly held freuent meetings across the state using a hired helicopter and spending crores of rupees from the government exchequer. 

This is so understood as State Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena once again said the department is inspecting records and it is at its last leg. The result of departmental investigation will come out soon and action would be taken, asserted Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena. 

While it is alleged that Pandian toured extensively across the State before the Parliamentary and Assembly polls to launch a career in politics in a big way, people have many times expressed concern that crores of rupees were spent by him from State's exchequer unnecessarily. 

Pandian toured by a helicopter and addressed huge meetings at 190 places in just six months of time. It is also alleged that he used the hired helicoptor for personal purpose at the cost of the State's exchequer.  

In reaction to the Minister's assertion, senior BJD leader Pratap Deb said the Minister does not know the truth.
