Bhubaneswar, Sept 3: Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik has provided update on PM Awas Yojana in Odisha.
According to Minister Naik, 1,26,542 benificiaries are still in the waiting to get a home under the PM Awas Yojana.
"The families in this waiting list will be allotted houses after receiving the target from the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India," said Rabi Narayan Naik, who also holds the state Ministry of Rural Development and Drinking Water at the Odisha Assembly.
The Panchayati Raj Minister confirmed that the State Government has already started to act in this regard.

✨"The State Government has already requested the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India to identify the eligible families, who have not been enlisted for the PM Awas Yojana," said the Rural Development Minister.
"After getting the approval from the Central Ministry, we will select the eligible families for the PM Awas Yojana," Rabi Narayan Naik concluded.
