Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: A Mo Bus' attempt to overtake proved too costly Thursday as it led to a series accident in Bhubaneswar.
As per the report, the non-AC Mo Bus was trying to overtake a vehicle and in the process it hit an AC Mo Bus from behind. A couple of cars, which were reportedly behind the non-AC Mo Bus, also rammed into the bus.
Multiple persons have been reportedly injured in the series accident, which took place between Rajmahal to Master Canteen route. All the injured have been admitted to Capital Hospital and they are undergoing treatment. BMC PRO is also reportedly among the injured.
Capital Police Staion police arrived at the spot after getting the information and rescued the injured before sending them to Capital Hospital.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter seizing all the vehicles involved in the accident. Due to the accident, the route saw a traffic zam for some time before Police clearing the traffic.
