Bhadrak, Jun 23: Over 10 persons sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in crashed into a divider on National Highway 16 near new bus stand in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the bus was en route from Bhadrak to Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle veered off balance and collided with the median, causing panic among passengers.

Following the incident, over 10 passengers sustained injuries.

Local residents and passersby rushed to the scene, and emergency services were promptly alerted.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with preliminary suspicions pointing to either mechanical failure or driver fatigue. Traffic on the highway was briefly disrupted but has since resumed.
