Bhubaneswar, Jul 20: In a major development that has shocked aspiring teachers across Odisha, the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), scheduled to be held on Sunday (July 20), was abruptly postponed following the alleged leak of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 questions and answer sets on Saturday night.

The OTET serves as a qualifying examination for individuals aspiring to become teachers in government-aided schools from Class I to VIII across the state. The Special OTET was introduced to accommodate candidates who had faced difficulties in previous sessions or missed out due to technical issues. However, this opportunity turned into frustration as thousands of candidates who had prepared for months were met with news of cancellation early this morning.
