Bhubaneswar, Sep 19: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Friday announced that it has postponed the Preliminary Exam for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE) Specialist-2024.

The exam was originally scheduled to be held on September 21. However, it was postponed following an interim order by the Orissa High Court on September 18.

Thousands of aspirants who were preparing for the Group B & C posts under this recruitment drive will now have to wait for a revised schedule.

The CGLRE Specialist-2024 recruitment aims to fill 173 vacancies, including positions such as Assistant Statistical Officer and Statistical Assistant. The selection process comprises a Preliminary Exam, followed by a Main Exam and Certificate Verification.
