Puri, Apr 4: Miscreants snatched away gold and silver ornaments worth over Rs 23 lakh from a jeweller at gunpoint at Delanga bazaar in Puri district last night.
Ironically, the loot was committed at a place less than 500 meter from the Delanga police station.
According to the information, miscreants brandished a gun at Prashant Mohapatra at his shop and took away all the ornaments he had in his shop. An FIR has been lodged at the Delanga police station by Mohapatra.

✨Mahapatra said miscreants snatched away gold ornaments weighing 276 grams and silver ornaments weighing 6 kg from him at gunpoint. The market price of the stolen ornaments is estimated to be over Rs 23 lakh.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
