Cuttack, Dec 21: The Orissa High Court on Thursday granted divorce to Ollywood actor and BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty from his actress wife Varsha Priyadarshini.

The High Court overturned the ruling of the Cuttack family court that had earlier rejected the divorce petition filed by Anubhav. It  also turned down Varsha's petition seeking continuation of the marriage.

Hearing the petition filed by Anubhav challenging the verdict of Cuttack family court, the High Court quashed the lower court’s order of September, 2023.

Stating that the main grievance of the BJD MP was non-consummation of marriage, Anubhav’s counsel said the High Court allowed the divorce of the couple after taking into account the evidence.
