Jaleswar, Jun 18: Tajpur sea beach, located along the West Bengal coastline, witnessed a tragic incident when three tourists were swept away while bathing in the sea.

While two persons were rescued, one of them is still missing.

According to reports, the victims, reportedly from Barasat area of West Bengal, had ventured into the sea. Meanwhile, they swept away while taking bath in the sea.

Following the incident, local authorities were immediately alerted, and a rescue operation was launched using speed boats.

However, the rescue teams managed to pull two of them. While one was found alive, the other was pronounced dead by doctors upon arrival. The search continues for the third missing person, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
