Balangir, Mar 4: One person was killed while four others sustained injuries after a clash between two groups over witchcraft allegations.
The incident was reported at Athagaon village under Tusura Police limts in Balangir district and the deceased has been identified as Shyama Bag.
According to reports, one Balgopal Rana, of the same locality, started accusing Shyam and his family of practising witchcraft. The situation took an ugly turn after a clash ensued between the two families. As a result, Shyama died on the spot while four others sustained injuries.

✨On being informed, police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir.
On the other hand, Balgopal has confessed to his crime.
Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the incident.
