Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Renowned Ollywood playback singer Humane Sagar, who was admitted to the Medical ICU at AIIMS Bhubaneswar with multiple health complications, passed away on Monday.
The singer, known for his soulful voice and immense
contribution to Odia cinema and music, was undergoing treatment for severe
liver failure and multi-organ dysfunction.
Critical Condition Before Demise
Humane Sagar was rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on November 14 after his health deteriorated sharply. Doctors placed him on advanced ventilator support as his liver, kidneys, lungs, and brain began to fail. Despite continuous monitoring and intensive care, his condition showed no improvement over the past 72 hours.

✨Family members, including his mother Sefali Suna, had earlier appealed for government support to manage the cost of treatment. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and former CM Naveen Patnaik had expressed concern and wished for his recovery. However, despite all efforts, the singer succumbed to his illness this evening.

Humane Sagar rose to fame as one of the most popular playback singers in the Odia film industry. His powerful renditions and emotional depth made him a household name across Odisha.
