Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: The mortal remains of veteran Ollywood actor Uttam Mohanty was cremated with full state honours at the Satyanagar crematorium in Bhubaneswar.
The last rites were performed by late actor's son Babushaan.
Fans, cine artists and several eminent leaders reached the late actor's residence to pay their final respect.
Earlier in the day, mortal remains of the actor arrived at Bhubaneswar airport at around 11.30 AM and was then taken to the residence.
Actor Uttam Mohanty, who had been battling liver cirrhosis, succumbed to his illness at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after a prolonged treatment.
Born on December 23, 1958 at Baripada in Mayurbhanj, Uttam Mohanty started his acting career with the film 'Abhimaan' in 1977. Apart from Odia films, the actor worked in 30 Bengali films and one Hindi film named 'Naya Zaher'.
