Bhubaneswar, Mar 30: In yet another jolt to Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) ahead of the general elections, Ollywood actor and Kendrapara BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty resigned from the party on Saturday.

Mohanty sent his resignation letter to BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

“I hope this letter finds you at the best of your health and happiness. I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign from the Biju Janata Dal, effective immediately,” Mohanty said in his letter.

After former MLAs -Priyadarshi Mishra and Akash Das Nayak, it was the turn of Anubhav Mohanty to quit the BJD on Saturday.
