The announcement was made by the organizing committee, recognizing her outstanding achievements and contributions to Indian badminton on the global stage.
Swetaparna will be honoured with a cash prize of ₹7 lakh along with a trophy, marking her as one of the most promising sports talents from Odisha. Her consistent performance in international tournaments and dedication to the sport have earned her this top recognition.

✨The Ekalabya Award, instituted to celebrate excellence in sports, also acknowledges emerging talents in other disciplines. This year, weightlifter Priteesmita Bhoi and tennis player Ahaan have been named runners-up. Both will receive ₹1.5 lakh each along with a certificate of merit.
