Organised by the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC), the Konark Mahotsav once again transformed the heritage town into a hub of music, dance, and cultural exchange. The festival attracted performers from across India and drew large crowds of art enthusiasts, tourists, and local residents.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Kambhampati visited the venue of the 15th International Sand Art Festival at Chandrabhaga Beach. He interacted with sand artists from India and abroad, who showcased intricate sculptures inspired by themes of heritage, global harmony, and environmental awareness. Renowned sand artist Padma Shri Sudarshan Pattnaik, the festival’s chief curator, was also present and briefed the Governor on the works displayed.
