Odisha: Youth Held For Impersonating Matric Exam Candidate

Nimapara, Feb 25: Police on Tuesday arrested a youth for allegedly writing the annual matriculation examination on behalf of the actual student. The incident was reported at Nahantara High School under Nimapara block in Puri district.
The youth has been identified as Raja Bhoi (19) of Dangura area under Sakhigopal police limit.
According to reports, the matter came to fore when the invigilator verified the admit card of the candidate. During the verification, it was learnt that Raja , on the name of one Seikh Musilimi Udin, had reached the examination hall to appear for the paper.
Following the incident, the accused was taken into the police custody.
A case under Sec 419/2, Sec 314/4 has been registered against the accused and further probe into the incident was launched.
