Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: In a major crackdown on corruption, the Odisha Vigilance officials have seized Rs 15 lakh in cash during raids at multiple locations linked to Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, Deputy Commissioner of STA (State Transport Authority), Cuttack.
The anti-corruption wing has also seized three gold biscuits and gold ornaments worth lakhs.
According to reports, the vigilance department team led by 2 Addl SsP, 13 DSsP, 12 Inspectors, 25 ASIs, and other supporting staff launched the search operations at nine locations including Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, and Cuttack.
Reportedly, the search is underway at his residential house at Maitri Vihar in Bhubaneswar, his farm house at Kusupalla, Ranapur, Nayagarh, five storeyed under construction building at Govindaprasad.
