Cuttack, Aug 23: Odisha Vigilance department on Saturday arrested Kishore Kumar Sahani, Senior Assistant, City Hospital, office of CDMO, Cuttack, on charges of possessing disproportionate assets.
Following the arrest, Sahani was forwarded to the Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance.
On Friday, the Vigilance department conducted searches on properties of Sahani. During the search, the official was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 2 buildings, 19 high value plots, cash Rs.3.30 lakhs, gold 135 gms, deposits over Rs.55.48 lakhs, etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
