Odisha: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Inaugurates 'Skill On Wheels' in Four Districts
Bhubaneswar, Dec 31: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated three 'Kaushal Raths' (Skill on Wheels) in four districts of Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul and Dhenkanal districts today. He added the Kaushal Raths will empower the youths in digital skills.
"Kaushal Rath is a guarantee of youth skilling and empowerment in bringing about a digital transformation. The youths both male and female who have registered within the stipulated time frame will receive training under this programme,"said Union Minister.
"The youth will be trained on the modern technologies which will make them self-reliant and help in becoming the leaders in building a new India. Women in these districts will also be empowered on the digital skills, "he added.
Students in various colleges in these districts will be skilled, re-skilled and upskilled by the Skill on Wheels programme. Economic literacy, digital literacy retail literacy along with enterpreneurship training will be provided by this Skill on Wheels programme. This
Programme has been designed keeping in view the technologies in the evolving world.

✨Union Minister sipped a cup of tea in G.Chini Rao's shop and appreciated his attempt of taking his business online.
He added,"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dreamt of a 'Vikshit Bharat' in 2024 and the country is progressing in the same direction. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are the new tools to escalate our path to reach a 'Vikshit Bharat'. It is to be noted that the Modi government brought about a revolutionary change in the digital transactions.
This programme will elevate the efforts of the Skill India programme launched by Prime Minister Modi to train the rural youth in digital skills.
