Jajpur, Jun 19: In a heartwarming tale of brilliance at a tender age, two-year-old Yakshit Pradhan from Kantia village under Binjharpur police limits in Odisha’s Jajpur district has earned a coveted spot in the India Book of Records.

The young prodigy, son of Indian Army personnel Bikash Ranjan Pradhan and Rajalakshmi Dhal, has stunned many with his extraordinary memory and learning abilities.

Despite being just two years old, Yakshit has successfully memorized and recited the names of 28 Indian state capitals, 14 fruits, 11 animals, 7 national flags and their symbols, and various human body parts — all in English.

His remarkable feat was officially recognized on the 2nd of this month, making him one of the youngest achievers from the region to be featured in the prestigious record book.

Yakshit’s father, currently serving in the Indian Army, noticed his son’s sharp memory and curiosity early on. Encouraged by his rapid learning, he applied to the India Book of Records, which later confirmed Yakshit’s inclusion after a thorough evaluation.

The news has sparked joy and pride in the local community, with residents of Kantia village celebrating the young boy’s achievement. Many have hailed him as a symbol of hope and inspiration for other children in the region.
