✨The survey is designed to align with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016. Identified children will be linked to appropriate schemes and services offered by the state government, ensuring access to education, healthcare, and rehabilitation support.
Officials will closely monitor the survey to ensure accuracy and transparency. The entire process is expected to be completed within the next one month.
This initiative is seen as a proactive measure to bridge the
gap in early identification and support for children with disabilities. By
integrating them into mainstream programmes from an early age, the state aims
to foster a more inclusive and equitable society.
