Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: In a significant move to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the world-famous Puri Rath Yatra, the Odisha government is set to introduce a comprehensive set of operational guidelines.
A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja will reportedly be held on July 19 to finalize the framework.
The Odisha Law Department has officially communicated the need for a structured approach, emphasizing accountability and coordination among all stakeholders.
The meeting will reportedly bring together top officials including Home Secretary Satyabrata Sahu, DGP YB Khurania, Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Arabinda Padhee, Urban Development Secretary Usha Padhee, Health & Family Welfare Secretary Aswathi S., along with the Puri District Collector and SP.
