Bhubaneswar, Dec 31: The health services sector in Odisha will undergo a revolutionary change in the New Year 2025 as the State government has already decided to implement the most beneficial 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' from February 1.

The Centre's most fruitful Aayusman Bharat Yojana and the State government's flagship programme Gopabandhu Jan Aarogya Yojana will be implemented in the State from February 1, said Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling.

The Minister said more than 3.5 crore people belonging to one crore families will get benefits from the two schemes.

The special feature of the programme is that Odia people staying outside the State and abroad will get treatment against critical diseases at the affiliated hospitals.
