In a message, Pradhan described success and failure as two sides of the same coin, stressing that democratic processes offer valuable lessons to all participants. He said that while one candidate wins, another gains experience and learns from the process.

Extending his best wishes to the newly elected student representatives, Pradhan expressed confidence that they would play a constructive role in maintaining a healthy academic environment within their institutions. He urged them to uphold the values of leadership, responsibility and democratic participation.

The Sambalpur MP noted that student elections provide young people with an opportunity to understand democratic traditions at the grassroots level and develop leadership qualities. He said the elected representatives should use their positions to address student concerns and contribute positively to campus life.

Pradhan also expressed hope that the winning student leaders would strive to build their personalities as successful and ideal students while balancing academic responsibilities with leadership roles. Maintaining discipline, encouraging constructive dialogue and promoting an atmosphere conducive to learning should remain their priorities, he added.
