Puri, Apr 4: The Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri is on its way to becoming a model of excellence in service and conduct as the temple administration organised a two-day training camp for its young and senior servitors.
The initiative aims to foster harmony and cooperation among servitors and the temple administration while enhancing the overall devotee experience.
On day 1, the training, conducted by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) at Niladri Bhakta Nivas, focuses on critical themes such as "characteristics of an ideal servitor," "disciplined devotional service," and "roles and responsibilities of servitors."
The second day, scheduled for tomorrow, is set to address the servitors' role in managing disciplined darshan, improving pilgrim care, and ensuring smooth coordination between the administration and servitors.
The administration has also shared a 10-point roadmap, highlighting values like selflessness, patience, discipline, teamwork, and respect for devotees.
These efforts reflect a collective vision to preserve the sanctity of the temple while ensuring a memorable spiritual journey for visitors.
