Minister Pujari emphasized that the government has a structured plan — “Plan 1, 2, 3” — to tackle all issues systematically. Responding to the incident where people assaulted BMC additional commissioner, Pujari pointed out that no officer stepped forward at the time, but he personally intervened as the Revenue Minister.
He called on officers to maintain trust in the administration, assuring them that their hardships and concerns are being heard. Regarding the ongoing strike by officials, Pujari noted that the government operates with the participation and understanding of these officers and is committed to their welfare.

So far, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, with suspensions ordered for political party members linked to the case. The minister cautioned against wrongful arrests without concrete evidence, stating that such cases would not stand up in court. Only those with verified video footage have been detained.
Pujari added that identifying all those behind the scenes will take time but assured that justice will be served. He urged everyone to follow the law and reassured that Supreme Court guidelines on strikes are being respected. Given the concurrent flood crisis and Rath Yatra celebrations, he appealed to officers to postpone any industrial actions until a more suitable time.
