Bhubaneswar, May 13: Odisha recorded 23.28 percent voting in the voter turnout trend till 11 am in the first phase of polling for four Lok Sabha seats and 28 Assembly constituencies in the state, according to the data released by the Election Commission of India.
As per reports from the office of the Odisha Chief Election Officer (CEO), Nuapada witnessed the highest voter turnout at 26.80%, while Rayagada recorded the lowest at 21%. The voting at Mohana and Nabarangpur was 21.47% and 21.50% respectively. Similarly, Narla, Paralakhemundi, Patanga, and Umerkote recorded 26.46%, 22.64%, 24.81%, and 26.20% respectively by 11.00 am today.
Voting is currently ongoing in districts including Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Nuapada in southern Odisha.
