Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) on Saturday announced the dates for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination under CPSE-2024.
The OMR-based written exam will be conducted across various districts in Odisha on October 4 and 5, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday).
This year’s recruitment drive aims to fill 933 SI vacancies, drawing thousands of applicants from across the state. The written exam will be held in two papers:
Paper 1: Odia and English Language (100 questions, 100 marks, 120 minutes)

Candidates can download their admit cards starting September 20, 2025, from the official Odisha Police website (odishapolice.gov.in) using their login credentials2. The admit card will contain details about the exam centre, shift timing, and other instructions.
The Odisha Police SI exam had previously been postponed due to administrative reasons, making this announcement a significant update for aspirants who have been preparing for months. The recruitment board has also introduced a three-year age relaxation, allowing candidates up to 33 years (for SEBC, SC, ST, and women) to apply.
