Odisha Police Bust Inter-State Ganja Smuggling Racket, Two Arrested

Balasore, Apr 17: Talsari Marine Police busted an inter-state ganja smuggling racket near Sahabajipur in Balasore district with the arrest of two persons.

Acting on a tip-off, the police personnel intercepted two persons, including a woman. Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 22 kilograms of ganja concealed in their luggage.

Following the discovery, the duo was immediately detained for further questioning.

The operation was supervised by Jaleswar SDPO and Bhograi Additional Tehsildar, who reached the spot to oversee the investigation.

Taking note of the report, police have intensified their probe to uncover the smuggling network and prevent further illegal activities in the region.
