Bhubaneswar, Jul 7: The first selection merit list for Plus 2 admissions was released by the Department of School and Mass Education (DHSE), Government of Odisha, today.

Students who have been selected in the first merit list can now proceed with admission formalities at their allotted colleges. The admissions window is open from July 8 to July 14, 2025.

Candidates are advised to carry all necessary documents, including original mark sheets and identity proof, during the admission process.

The merit list has been published online via the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. Students can check their selection status, allotted college, and subject stream by logging into their accounts at samsodisha.gov.in.

Officials noted that nearly 4.5 lakh students had registered for this year’s Plus 2 admissions. Subsequent selection lists will be released based on vacant seats following the current round.

Those not selected in the first round are encouraged to wait for the second merit list, expected on July 18, 2025. The department has also set up help desks at various nodal centers to assist with queries and documentation.
