Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari Tuesday said the sale of part plots will be smooth from January 2025.
The Minister said the State government would amend the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Act, if required, to make the sale of part plots easy. He said a meeting of the RERA committee will be held on December 31 in this regard.
"Earlier, we had told the RERA committee to find ways to make the sale of part plots smooth. They were also advised to make a draft proposal to amend the RERA laws if required," said the Minister.
Pujari also said the government will either amend the Development Authority Act or clarify certain provisions so that selling part plots will be no problem.

✨"There are some ambiguous words in the Development Authority Act, which need to be defined easily. We will either delete those words or make clarifications," said the Minister.
About part plots sold earlier, the Minister said 31 District Registrars or Sub-Registrars who sold part plots earlier have been identified. The purpose of the sale is being looked into. If part plots were sold illegally, action would be taken accordingly, said the Minister.
