Bhubaneswar, Mar 18: The evaluation of annual matric examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, for the year 2025 will commence from tomorrow (March 19) at around 45 evaluation centres across the State.

The board has finalised the evaluation centres, where approximately 12,800 examiners will check the answer sheets from 9 AM to 5 PM for approximately 12 days.

The evaluation centres will be closely supervised. Teachers and other staff engaged in the evaluation process will not be allowed to leave the campus during the evaluation process.

Similarly, carrying mobile phones to the center is prohibited. The board authorities have stated that any violations will lead to departmental action against the concerned evaluators.

After the evaluation, marks will be uploaded on the daily basis. Before uploading the marks, a two-step verification process will be carried out. For this purpose, 300 data entry operators have been appointed.

Notably, more than five lakh students appeared for the matriculation exams conducted by the BSE Odisha this year. The exams were held across 3,133 centres across the State.
