Bhubaneswar, Apr 7: Odisha is likely to get some relief from heat wave conditions as a cyclonic circulation is expected to occur in the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas and turn into a low-pressure in the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has predicted that rainfall will in parts of the State from today till April 11.
The weather office has issued yellow warnings to 14 districts- Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Rayagada, Gajapati, Koraput and Malkangiri. These districts will witness rainfall and thunderstorms and wind blow between 30 and 40 per hour.

✨The regional weather office has also issued yellow warning to 19 districts for April 9 (Wednesday). Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Rayagada, Gajapati, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri will receive rain by the impact of the low-pressure.
Besides, yellow warnings of rainfall have also been issued to 16 districts for April 10. Nine cities recorded over 40 degree Celsius yesterday. Among them, Boudh was the hottest city at 42 degree Celsius.
