Bhubaneswar, May 10: In view of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Odisha government has cancelled all leaves granted to District Collectors and Revenue Divisional Commissioners (RDCs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs).

The government has also asked officers on leave to return to duty immediately.

The Government has written letters to concerned authorities in this regard. With national security discussions intensifying, the Odisha government has directed all key administrative officials to remain present and responsive to any emerging situation.

Meanwhile, leave cancellations have also been announced for personnel at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, ensuring that medical facilities remain fully staffed and operational in case of any crisis management needs.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs is set to address the nation in a press conference at 10 AM, providing details on the unfolding situation and potential strategic responses.
