Odisha Kharif Paddy Procurement 2026: Registration Begins, Know Last Date

Bhubaneswar, Aug 7: The Odisha government has begun registration for the 2026 Kharif paddy procurement season. Registration commenced on August 6 and will continue until August 31.

All farmers can collect a new registration form from their nearest Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) and submit the completed application at the respective society office within the stipulated period.

Documents Required
Applicants must submit photocopies of the following documents along with the registration form:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Aadhaar-linked mobile number (if available) or an alternate mobile number
  • Record of Rights (RoR)/land record
  • Copy of the first page of the bank passbook
  • Consent letter from the landowner (for sharecroppers)
  • Farmer Registry number or Agri Stack number


Aadhaar-based e-KYC is mandatory during the registration process.

Sale Schedule To Be Declared

Farmers must indicate in the registration form the month and fortnight during which they intend to sell their paddy under the Kharif procurement programme.

For sharecroppers, registration will be completed through Aadhaar e-KYC of both the sharecropper and the landowner. The presence of the landowner is mandatory for this process.

Help Desks Set Up
Officials at cooperative societies will assist farmers in filling out the registration forms. Dedicated help desks have been established at the society level to facilitate the process.

Farmers can also seek assistance by calling the toll-free helpline 1967.

It can be mentioned here that during the Kharif Marketing Season (KMS) 2024–25, the Odisha government directly procured 92.64 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of paddy from local farmers.

The Central Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved a base MSP hike for the upcoming 2026–27 marketing season (raising Common to Rs 2,441 and Grade A to Rs 2,461). However, the active procurement rates distributed directly at state-level mandis throughout 2026 remain anchored to the Rs 3,169 - Rs 3,189 tier via the Samrudha Krushaka Yojana framework.
