Bhubaneswar, Jun 10: Odisha is witnessing a resurgence of COVID-19 cases, with 12 districts reporting new infections. As of the latest update, 56 cases have been identified across the state, raising concerns among health officials.

District-Wise Breakdown

Among the affected districts, Khordha has recorded the highest number of cases, with 23 infections, followed by Cuttack with 18 cases. Other districts reporting cases include:

- Puri: 3 cases, raising concerns ahead of the Rath Yatra.
- Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh: 2 cases each.
- Keonjhar, Angul, Bargarh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, and Sonepur: 1 case each.

Health Department’s Response
