Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: The two-day orientation programme for newly elected MLAs, "Gyanasanskar Programme" concluded on a successful note today.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju participated in the event and addressed the newly elected MLAs in the Assembly premises. The programme was organised for two days on August 17 and 18 by the State Assembly.
By participating in this program, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi said "Knowledge Reform Program", is auspicious for democracy.
"24 years ago, when I came to the Assembly for the first time after being elected, even then I participated in such a training program and gained knowledge about the legislative system of the parliamentary tradition," said the Chief Minister.
