Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: The Odisha government will disburse the fourth phase of first instalment of Rs 5,000 each to eligible women under the Subhadra Yojana on December 25, informed Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Thursday.
In a post on social media, CM Majhi said, “The double engine government is giving priority to women empowerment in the State. The economic development of women is ensured through the Subhadra Yojana. The fourth phase of the first installment of the assistance under Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed to the eligible beneficiaries on December 25.”

After the third phase of disbursal of the first instalment, a total of 80 lakh women have been covered under the scheme so far, while the govt has set a target to cover over 1 crore women by Dec.

✨A total of 1,05,36,612 women have registered themselves for Subhadra Yojana by December 1, sources said.
Odisha government introduced the Subhadra Yojana for women on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's on September 17. Eligible beneficiaries aged 21 to 60 will receive a total of Rs 50,000 over five years, spanning from 2024–2025 to 2028–2029.
