Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: The Odisha government has announced an increase in the salary of Junior teachers working under the 'Samagra Siksha' programme.
The School and Mass Education Department issued a notificatin in this regard on Wednesday.
According to the notification, the salary of teachers (schematic) has been increased from Rs 11,000 to Rs 16,000.

✨The teachers of primary and upper primary schools will now get a salary of Rs 16,000 per month. The increased salary will be implemented from today.
As many as 13,740 teachers will benefit, according to the notification.
