Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: In a major decision, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday announced a significant increase in the monthly salaries of Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF) personnel.
This decision, aimed at boosting morale and strengthening the state's security apparatus, will benefit various ranks in the force.
The monthly salary for constables has been raised from ₹30,000 to ₹45,000. Similarly, Lance Naiks, Naiks, and Havildars will now receive ₹50,000, up from ₹32,000. Junior Commissioned Officers and posts like Syrang, Engine Drivers, and Masters will see their salaries increased from ₹40,000 to ₹55,000.
