Bhubaneswar, May 21: The Odisha government has announced an increase in monthly pensions for individuals aged 80 years and above and those with 80% or more disabilities.

Starting June 2025, eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs 3,500 per month.

The Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) has issued directives to District Social Security Officers (DSSOs) to ensure the implementation of the enhanced pension.

The revised pension scheme aims to support independent living and improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups in the state.
