Bhubaneswar, Aug 21: In a major reshuffle of its IPS cadre, the Odisha Government on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of six IPS officers, including changes in the leadership of the Intelligence and Economic Offences Wing (EOW), officials said.

As per the notification, issued by the Home Department, Himansu Kumar Lal, IPS (RR-2003), presently Inspector General of Police, N.R., Sambalpur, has been posted as IG of Police, EOW, Bhubaneswar, with the STF.

Satyabrat Bhoi, IPS (RR-2004), presently IG of Police, N.C.R., Talcher, and holding additional charge as Principal, Police Training College (PTC), Angul, has been posted as IG of Police, Intelligence.

Jai Narayan Pankaj, IPS (RR-2005), presently IG of Police, Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred as IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur.

In another key change, Niti Shekhar, IPS (RR-2007), presently IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur, has been posted as IG of Police (Provisioning), Police Headquarters.
