Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: The Mohan Majhi-led government has directed all district Collectors and SPs to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators amid the unrest in the neighbouring country, said CM Majhi Monday at the ongoing Budget Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.
The directions have been issued with a focus on Kendrapara, Bhubaneswar and Puri district.
Till 2021, number of Bangladeshi infiltrators stands at 3,740 in Odisha.

✨There are 2 Bangladeshi infiltrators in Bargarh, 199 in Bhadrak, 1649 in Kendrapara, 17 in Bhubaneswar, 1112 in Jagatsinghpur, 655 in Malkangiri and 106 in Nabarangpur, said CM Majhi in a written reply in the Odisha Assembly.
