Bhubaneswar, Aug 13: In a major step toward resolving transportation challenges and enhancing connectivity in remote regions, the Odisha government has approved the construction of 32 new bridges under the ambitious Setu Bandhan Yojana.

This initiative aims to bring accessible roads to previously underserved areas, improving mobility and boosting local development.

The first phase of the project will cover 12 districts. These bridges are expected to significantly reduce travel time, facilitate access to essential services, and promote economic activities in rural pockets.
