Odisha Government Hikes Daily And Retainer Fees Of Law Officers By 50%

The 740 Assistant Public Prosecutors were getting a daily fees of Rs 1,100 but after the increment they will get Rs 1,650. Their retainer fees has increased to Rs 6,000 from the current Rs 4,000. 

Bhubaneswar, March 1: In a welcoming news for the law officers of Odisha, the State Government on Friday announced to hike the daily and retainer fees of non-cadre law officers.

This will benefit the 1,215 law officers in the state announced Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik. 

According to the hiked salary, the daily fees of the 184 additional public prosecutors will become Rs 1,875 as against the current Rs 1,250. Similarly the retainer fees has increased to Rs 12,300 from the current Rs 8,200.

The 85 special public prosecutor were getting a daily fees of Rs 1,250 but will now get Rs 1,875 with their retainer fees becoming Rs 12,300 as against the current Rs 8,200. 

The 29 government pleader and 113 assistant government pleader will now get Rs 12,300 fom the previous Rs 8,200 as the retainer fees.
