Bhubaneswar, Apr 6: On the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Navami, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi along with his family offered prayers at Bhubaneswar's Ram Mandir.

Devotees and temple authorities warmly welcomed the CM, who also engaged in conversations about the temple's significance and efforts for preservation.

This visit symbolises the deep-rooted spiritual connection and cultural heritage embraced during this festive celebration.

Ram Navami is being celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm in the country on Sunday. The festival marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is also the last day of Chaitra Navratri.

Lakhs of devotees are visiting various temples across the country. Since morning, long queues of devotees have been seen outside temples.

One of the biggest celebrations is being held at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, as devotees from all corners of the world have come to celebrate the day.

Special arrangements have been made by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra to ensure a smooth 'darshan' for devotees.
