Mayurbhanj, May 13: In a landmark move for Mayurbhanj district, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple development projects worth over ₹4,200 crore.

During the event, CM Majhi announced the establishment of a +2 college in Bishoi block and renaming of the Bishoi mini stadium in honour of Dharanidhar Nayak, including the installation of his statue.
The development spree includes 133 projects valued at ₹3,280 crore and 52 additional projects worth ₹910 crore, reflecting the government's commitment to strengthening rural Odisha’s economy.
Further, the Chief Minister emphasised Odisha’s industrial boom, revealing plans for ₹10,000 crore worth of industrial investments in Mayurbhanj, which are expected to create significant employment opportunities.
CM Majhi highlighted various initiatives such as drinking water projects, education infrastructure, banking facilities, healthcare centers, and improved road networks to ensure holistic development.
