Bhubaneswar, Sep 11: Amid growing concerns over fertilizer shortages across Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has called for a high-level emergency meeting to address the escalating crisis.
Reports from multiple districts have highlighted severe scarcity of fertilizers, triggering unrest among farmers and raising alarms about the upcoming Kharif season.
The meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister, will include Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo and Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra. Senior bureaucrats, including the Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, and district collectors will also participate via video conferencing.
