Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced the regularisation of contractual schematic junior teachers across the state, benefiting more than 13,000 educators.
The decision applies to junior teachers appointed during the 2023–24 academic year, who will now be treated as regular employees from the date of their joining.
Notional Benefits Before Full Pay Rollout
According to the announcement, the teachers will receive notional benefits from their respective dates of joining until December 31, 2025. However, they will be entitled to full salary and all service benefits as regular employees from January 1, 2026.
